I’m not one for carrots – unless they are in a bubbling pot of stew that is – so a juice drink doesn’t sound particularly appealing to me, however, getting my five a day is, and as an ideal way to start the day I thought I’d give the latest offering from James White Drinks a go to see what all the fuss was about.
A 100 per cent natural carrot juice using British carrots, one carton contains roughly 12 large carrots, that’s about four carrots per glass! It’s definitely one way to get your daily intake of something veggie without the hassle of chopping, not to mention it’s sweet, with only half the amount of natural sugar that is found in most fruit juices.
Here’s hoping it will help me see in the dark!
British carrot juice by Suffolk-based, James White Drinks, is available from selected Waitrose stores and online from Ocado and James White Drinks for £2.75 per 75cl carton.
